About this Line of Business

The Wellness, Comprehensive Assessment, Rehabilitation and Employment (WeCARE) Program provides a continuum of integrated services that evaluate the abilities and address the needs of Cash Assistance (CA) clients with medical and/or mental health condition(s) that may affect their employability. Clinical assessment processes determine clients’ functional capacity outcomes and ability to achieve the goals of wellness and employment or to apply for and receive federal disability benefits.

The WeCARE program has been successful in assisting thousands of New York City clients with clinical barriers achieve self-sufficiency. ResCare Workforce Services is a funded provider for WeCARE services through the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA).

As a(n) Admin Assistant-Timekeeping - WeCARE you will: 

  • Collects and reviews documentation of customer participation in program activities for compliance with program requirements and assigned hours of participation
  • Ensures that documentation of participation in program activities in in the data tracking system at least weekly for all customers
  • Data enters hours of participation and activities in which customers are participating
  • Works collaboratively with program staff to ensure customers are assigned to and participating in activities at all times
  • Contacts assigned program staff for worksites and program partner agencies, as applicable, to collect documentation when missing
  • May conduct community outreach to collect documentation of participation from customers and/or partners
  • Prepares reports related to areas of responsibility

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years’ related clerical experience
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of office machinery and automation, including any applicable software packages
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and the public

Position(s) available in Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Manhattan.
