Adult Talent Development Manager - WFS Responsibilities

General Summary

The Talent Development Manager is primarily responsible to lead the AD/DW program.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Strategize and outline goals and objectives of the program
  • Communicate and motivate team to meet contract Performance goals, Scope of Work and Financial obligation
  • Estimate and implement program budgets
  • Set program controls/governance/standards
  • Monitor multiple projects through the entire program cycle
  • Manage the day-to-day detailed aspects of multiple projects
  • Set timelines for goal posts/due dates
  • Coordinate and utilize resources for multiple projects in the program
  • Manage and submit program documentation
  • Communicate with project managers to address potential risks
  • Solve problems and issues
  • Track program progress
  • Communicate program objectives, goals, and progress to program directors, executives, upper management, and stakeholders
  • Evaluate and supervise multiple projects
  • Organize cross-projects work within the program
  • Lead and mentor project staff and team members
  • Set objectives to maximize ROI
  • Prepare and present progress and budget reports to program directors
  • Assist team members and project managers when needed to accomplish team goals
  • Other duties as assigned.

Specific Requirements

Qualifications / Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or related field; master (MA or MSc) in business or related field preferred
  • 5+ years’ previous experience in program management, project management, administration, or related field
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project)
  • Knowledgeable in program management methodology and techniques; performance evaluation and change management principles

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Driver’s License and proof of current insurance required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Extensive standing, sitting, computer, phone, deskwork and extensive data entry required; work primarily in a defined office environment with specified hours although flexible hours may be required; interacts one on one and in group with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds; availability for occasional out of office meetings, conferences, training and other events may be required; travel (mainly regional) is required.
