As a(n) Application Manager, ADP Enterprise you will: 

The Application Manager, ADP Enterprise will provide leadership and hands-on direction to the engineers/analysts for the implementation, deployment, support, and maintenance of HR and Payroll systems solutions for ResCare and its affiliates.  This includes support of multiple modules and will be responsible for integration and requirements to maximize value to the Company.  This role will work with leadership and stakeholders across the organization to identify gaps and needs of focus.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide leadership and direction to assigned staff responsible for deployment, maintenance, and support of HR/Payroll System. 
  • Work with the Sr. Director of HR Technology, VP of Cash Disbursements, Cornerstone Application Manager, and department operational executives to establish and implement best practices for the deployment and use of HR and payroll applications. 
  • Plan, develop, implement, support, and maintain workflows for assigned departments, ensuring that the developed workflows enhance the efficiency of the assigned area ensure the future state meets the requirements of the business. 
  • Plan, develop and maintain tools that provide optimal user efficiency and proficiency, with emphasis on development of tools to enhance workflow for HR and payroll operations.
  • Provide technical consultation, expertise, and oversight for the existing HR and payroll system and recommend and assist in implementing enhancements and procedures.
  • Monitor inquiries and problem resolution while ensuring report of significant trends and process as a regular occurrence.
  • Mentor and develop assigned staff and provide technical expertise and consultation to ensure that staff is appropriately trained and prepared. 
  • Act as liaison between HR, payroll, and IT departments. 
  • Coordinate with the ResCare training team for creation/modification of end user training and documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field.  Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience with HR and Payroll systems, including management of technical and training staff, large scale systems implementation, and/or project management. 
  • Significant, progressive experience with implementing, maintaining, and training large scale HR and payroll systems is required.
  • Requires experience with ADP Enterprise.
  • HR/payroll management or experience in workflow design is required. 
  • Certifications/Licenses: none 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Initiative, problem identification, resolution and analytical skills are essential.  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, including the ability to coach and teach office staff and I/S staff members.  
  • Strong critical thinking and the ability to apply knowledge at a broad level within a complex healthcare company is essential.  
  • An understanding of HR and payroll workflows is required.  
  • Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate changing business needs.
  • Travel may be required to facilitate business development (acquisition) activities and new implementations.
