As a(n) Clinical Medical Assistant Instructor you will: 

Teaches the basic principles and concepts of Health Occupations to trainees. Conducts clinicals for HOT and Medical Assistant students.

  • Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom.
  • Adequately prepares for classroom instruction.
  • Ensures equipment is in good working condition.
  • Provides supervision for HOT and Medical Assistant students while on clinicals.
  • Identifies appropriate materials.
  • Seeks input from industry advisors.
  • Submits ESPs as scheduled in a timely fashion.
  • Documents student progress on training Achievement Records, and for inclusion on ETA 640.
  • Records daily attendance and forwards to the scheduling and attendance clerk.
  • Assists in student resume preparation.
  • Designs instruction to meet individual student needs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum of two years related experience. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, groups of managers, students, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractures,
percentages ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and saw related conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical
instruction in mathematical or diagram terms, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid State Driver’s License.
RN license.
