Customer Service Representative (Staffing Solutions) Responsibilities

Conduct outbound calls to applicants for ResCare’s Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions in fast paced team environment using an autodial system.  Utilizes screening process to determine if the applicant is qualified and schedules interviews. 

  • Partners with HR Managers and Talent Acquisition Team to determine Agency staffing needs, qualifications needed and troubleshooting hiring process
  • Obtains applicant information by answering phone calls and emails, making outbound calls in response to receiving an application, screening applicants; verifying applicants' information
  • Processing and reviewing employment applications in order to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants
  • Schedules qualified applicants for interviews with hiring managers in the field
  • Verify rehire eligibility of former employees
  • Promotes our Direct Support Professional positions to applicants by explaining employment qualifications,  answering questions, and providing job specific information
  • Maintains an accurate records of the pre-screen following established guidelines
  • Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines; recommending improved procedures.
  • Conducts data entry into human resource database
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college or undergraduate degree is a plus
  • 6 months or more experience in customer service required
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing required
  • Ability to use telephone and computers required
  • Experience in a Call Center environment using database software preferred
  • Attention to Detail; Professionalism; Multi-tasking preferred
