Director, Clinical Management - Rehab Without Walls Responsibilities
  • Directs the provision of all rehabilitative clinical services to maximize program efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Ensures that clinicians have demonstrated the ability to perform accurate and complete assessments.
  • Develops with physicians, plans for service delivery and plans for discharge.
  • Directs and/or delegates the assignment of staff, monitoring of daily and weekly schedules, and the matching of clinician qualifications to patient/client needs.
  • Oversees program evaluation processes and completion of annual program evaluation report.
  • Manages the records documentation process to ensure that the patient/client’s clinical record meets legal and regulatory requirements, facilitates care, enhances the continuity of care, helps coordinate treatment and evaluation of the patient/client.
  • Ensures timely/accurate billing, payroll and records process to ensure efficient scheduling and excellent service delivery.
  • Develops, with the Executive Director, annual market assessment, budget, and business plan.
  • Monitors expenditures and adherence to Company policies through the implementation of controls.
  • Directs the recruitment, hiring and development of clinical staff to ensure the delivery of safe and consistent quality care to all patients/clients.
  • Ensures completion of supervision and annual evaluations of healthcare staff according to Company policy and procedure and federal and/or state regulations.
  • Directs ongoing skill evaluations to assure that the staff’s abilities are consistent with the needs of individual patient/clients and the marketplace.
  • Resolves, with the Director and other staff members, sensitive issues to minimize Company liability.
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of all available services and resources available within the Company and the community.
  • Directs staff to meet patient/client needs through the identification.
  • Ensures the program is in substantial compliance with all applicable licensure, accreditation and certification standards.
  • Accompanies others on sales calls to provide clinical expertise, as needed.
  • Performs all duties inherent in a managerial role.
  • Participates in special projects and performs related duties as required.
  • Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Rehabilitation/Counseling, Education or Human Services, Allied Health field plus a minimum two years in a supervisory/administrative role generally required plus a minimum of five years clinical experience.
  • Current licensure in state of practice is required.
  • Expert knowledge of neurological rehabilitation techniques, community health/home healthcare supervision and governmental home health agency regulations required.
  • Excellent organization, problem solving, decision making and communication skills also required.
