As a(n) Facilities and Information Technology Manager you will: 

  • Responsible for recommending, planning, and executing site space-plan changes.
  • Oversees and plans annual facility spending for office services, building and grounds maintenance, and facility expansion or improvement projects.
  • Plans, organizes, schedules, and directs the design, maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of organization facilities.
  • Develops plans and programs that meet present and anticipated space and facility requirements.
  • Monitors and inspects all buildings and equipment to ensure that utility systems are fully operational and that preventive maintenance schedules are being followed.
  • Prepares cost estimates for building renovations or space allocations.
  • Evaluates completed work and checks for conformance to specifications.
  • May direct the safety and/or security functions of the facilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in business management, facilities management, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Maintenance experience required
  • Familiarity with building upkeep, structural issues, and grounds maintenance 

Additional Information

• Maintain communication with building management and ensure that staff is notified of concerns as appropriate• Identify and resolve facility-related problems reported by employees• Manage IT team and inventory• Oversee the facility security system, maintain the office key inventory and manage access to the facility• Interact with management in coordinating major purchases• Act as focal point for office purchasing requirements, including furniture, general office supplies and non-computer related equipment• Work with Human Resources to ensure accuracy of information in HRIS• Serve as the focal point for general communications to employees at the operations.• Point of contact with landlords and vendors regarding site specific projects, issues, and concerns• Provide input to the Project Director for capital budget• Other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experienceAt least two years of management experienceStrong written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively work with both internal and external customersAbility to critically think to solve a range of problemsExcellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent mechanical aptitudeStrong written and oral communication skillsMust possess and maintain a good driving record and meet company driving requirementsModerate Travel. Must have valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance, and must meet company driving standards.
