As a(n) Facilities Manager you will: 

Manages and oversees all facility management needs, including overseeing vendors.

  • Provide weekly briefings and reports to the project director
  • Manage vendors used for facility services
  • Work with other members of management team to ensure that all reported issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Develop and implement the Facilities Management process
  • Develop and monitor metrics to assure the organization is operating efficiently and effectively serving client needs while meeting budgetary parameters
  • Additional duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in facility management services.
  • Demonstrated managerial experience and abilities, as well as knowledge of purchasing, supplies, grounds keeping, and equipment repair.
  • Working knowledge of principles and practices of project management and business administration;
  • Working knowledge of procurement and contracts; sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations;
  • Experience in construction, maintenance and all facets of facility operations;
  • Supervisory experience;
  • Solid computer and systems knowledge.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Maintain communication with building management and ensure that staff is notified of concerns as appropriate• Identify and resolve facility-related problems reported by employees• Point of contact and management support for leases and vendor agreements related to Building Operations• Manage inventory• Oversee the facility security system, maintain the office key inventory and manage access to the facility• Interact with management in coordinating major purchases• Act as focal point for office purchasing requirements, including furniture, general office supplies and non-computer related equipment• Work with Human Resources to ensure accuracy of information in HRIS• Serve as the focal point for general communications to employees at the operations.• Point of contact with landlords and vendors regarding site specific projects, issues, and concerns• Provide input to the Project Director for capital budget• Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION• Bachelor degree in Business or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience• At least two years of management experience• Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively work with both internal and external customers• Ability to critically think to solve a range of problems• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook• Excellent mechanical aptitude• Strong written and oral communication skills• Must possess and maintain a good driving record and meet company driving requirementsTRAVEL REQUIREMENTSModerate Travel. Must have valid Driver’s License, Auto Insurance, and must meet company driving standards.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDSExtensive standing, sitting, computer/data entry, phone and deskwork required; work primarily in a defined office environment.Able to lift and move office equipment. Lifting >25lbs
