HR Coordinator Responsibilities

- Coordinates the new hire process
- Maintains up-to-date employment records and personnel files
- Processes personnel actions accurately and timely, for example, new hires, terms, promotions, leave of absence, etc.
- Prepares management reports as needed.
- Inputs employment information in the HRIS system and retrieves historical data as needed.
- Serves as a liaison between provider, employee, and Resource Center
- Provides support during open enrollment process
- Serves as a benefits specialist for employee populations
- Addresses benefits questions as needed.
- Processes benefits changes in a timely manner
- Returns calls each day
- Courteous and professional at all times
- Offer suggestions for improving current HR systems
- Distributes exit interviews and tracks/monitors responses
- Conducts benefit audits
- Worker’s Compensation review
- Injury report analysis
- OSHA audits
- Conducts background checks/investigations
- Assures proper authorization of payroll actions
- Inputs employee work schedules into workforce timekeeper system
- Maintains applicable records for state and federal reporting
- Maintains benefits accrual information
- Inputs time records in a timely and efficient manner via the exceptions report
- Distributes exceptions reports to supervisors/managers and prepares management reports as needed
- Validates/organizes payroll checks prior to distribution
- Maintains employee garnishment files, forwarding all received garnishment notices to the Resource Center
- Other duties as assigned

Specific Requirements

- One year of HR/payroll/clerical experience preferred. One year computer experience to include proficient use of spreadsheets and word
   processing preferred.

- High school diploma or GED; Some college coursework or associates degree preferred.
