HRIS Analyst II Responsibilities

The HRIS Analyst II will support the direction and management of HRIS initiatives, projects, and applications. This position is responsible for supporting operational data needs in our HR applications including ADP Enterprise, Cornerstone, and any future applications that the company will utilize. This role will also ensure all vendor interfaces (for both internal and external) are maintained. The HRIS Analyst II will participate in the identification and implementation of new modules/functionality and applications (if appropriate) as well as ongoing support and administration of existing applications. This position will be expected to drive, influence, and partner with HR, IT and our end-users to best leverage the systems and processes currently in place and to drive improvements where necessary.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide production support including, security administration, workflow management, support (phone and email), research and resolve system related issues; perform scheduled activities (mass updates); recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet new and existing requirements.
  • Maintain and audit HRIS system. Document current processes and recommend changes as needed. Collaborate with HR and IT to coordinate fixes and upgrades. Assist in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades and/or updates.
  • Partner with business to gather and create requirements documentation for new functionality. Assist with implementation of new functionality which will include test scripts, testing, creating user documents and training documents. Document and implement process improvements related to policy changes and/or organizational changes. Serve as a liaison with external third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. Payroll, ADP, finance, benefit vendors, etc.).
  • Analyze reports or queries utilizing the appropriate reporting tools. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. Ensure that security protocols are in place and being followed.
  • Troubleshoot any access issues that team members experience with the HRIS supported systems. Work escalated HelpDesk Tickets. Partner with vendors and IT when necessary. Ensure that correct workflows are developed and maintained for team members to make changes to their records as appropriate.
  • Maintain and support APIs between ADP, Cornerstone, and third-party vendors. Partner with IT in setting up new connections and fix current connections when a problem arises. Review new connections for accuracy and provide feedback as appropriate.
  • Support our HR initiatives.
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain customer and employee confidentiality at all times.
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Specific Requirements

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree preferred, high school / GED required.
  • Three years of HRIS Support required.
  • Experience with ADP, Cornerstone, or other HRIS systems is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel, Word and PPT skills strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone protocol; professional verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions

  • This position requires the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, standard mobility to maneuver from one location to another, regular lifting and carrying items weighing 20 lbs. or less.
