As a(n) HRIS Specialist you will: 

At the direction of the HRIS Manager support the organization by assisting users by providing guidance related to questions and troubleshooting and resolving issues. This position is responsible for supporting operational data needs in our HR applications and any future applications that the company will utilize. The HRIS Specialist provide ongoing support of existing applications. This position will be expected to support our end-users to best leverage the systems and processes currently in place and to drive improvements where necessary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process daily request from users.  Provide production support including, but not limited to, workflow management, front line support for HRIS team working and resolving issues via phone and email, auditing employee level data (including historical data), research and resolve system related issues; perform scheduled activities (mass updates); recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet new and existing requirements.
  • Provides front line support and good customer service.
  • Maintain and audit HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems.  Document current processes and recommend changes as needed; 
  • Assist in the testing of system upgrades and/or updates;
  • Provide support and identify issues with standard reporting and share with analysts for updates;
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain patient and employee confidentiality at all times;
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures;
  • Other duties as assigned;

Position Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school / GED required, experience supporting systems is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office; advanced Excel, Word and PPT skills strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone protocol; professional verbal and written communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This position requires the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, standard mobility to maneuver from one location to another, regular lifting and carrying items weighing 20 lbs. or less.
