As a(n) Intake/Instructor you will: 

Reporting to the Assistant Program Manager, the Intake/Instructor will be an expert in assessing the members and assisting the members in identifying the best service opportunities and program options. The intake /instructor will work with the team to guide the member to the most appropriate next step model.


  • Interviews customers, reviews and completes all forms required for successful entryinto the program.
  • Follows up on all no shows and reschedules their appointments
  • Conducts group orientations
  • Guide members to available online service options
  • Trains members on various literacy topics of interest (Security, Food Handlers and OSHA)
  • Teaches basic Microsoft Software courses
  • Administer quarterly entrance examinations to individuals to demonstrate progression
  • Contacts potential members provided by outreach staff
  • Perform Job Readiness Training components on a weekly basis

Position Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 1-2 years in workforce development or related field preferred
  • Strong project management skills, including managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Does, Internet Research, and social media
  • Outcomes-driven, strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform programmatic decisions
  • Highly motivated, with proven capacity to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in high-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Flexible, with availability to work a weeknight and occasional Saturdays
