As a(n) IT Field Support Svcs you will: 

  • Involved with systems administration of Information Technology operations for applicable state and/or county agencies, including but not limited to the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers.
  • Will assist with Active Directory, Group Policy setup, DHCP configuration, System Back-up and Restores, and have strong knowledge of the interactions between server systems and networkGeneral
  • Provide day-to-day support to staff and computer labs by Identifying problems, troubleshooting, and providing technical assistance and training staff on appropriate usage
  • Ability to lift and move computers from one area to another as required
  • Ensure that daily file server backups are 100% completed.
  • Provides guidance to staff regarding work procedures, technical issues, work priorities, and special requests pertaining to office technology
  • Coordinates equipment repair insuring maximum up-time of all equipment
  • Coordination and inventory of supplies for all office equipment
  • Reports all issues and resolutions to the Regional IT Manager
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • BA/BS in Information Technology or related fields preferred
  • Experience working in a high volume work environment. 2+ years of experience with server administration.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Must have the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • The ability to lift 60 pounds required.
  • Position is providing support to a local office, which may require "off-peak" work during updates, or system wide enhancements.
