IT Help Desk Analyst II Responsibilities

The IT Help Desk position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to customers within ResCare. This position is responsible for assisting customers with problems that occur with hardware, software printers and network issues.  This position must be able to troubleshoot and provide problem resolution to technical issues regarding desktop operating systems and applications.

Essential Job Responsibilities: 

  • Log and track customer calls and maintain history records and related problem documentation.
  • Monitor outstanding issues to ensure Service Level Agreements are met.
  • Provide status updates to functional areas with open trouble tickets.
  • Provide top quality customer service by assisting customers with problems that occur with hardware, software, printers and network issues.
  • Monitor Help Desk Email box, log issues and forward to appropriate areas.
  • Act as a liaison between end-users, technical support staff and management.
  • Maintaining virus scan software portal.
  • Assist in the set-up and closure of offices.
  • Work with TSS Purchasing to secure quotes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Specific Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Information Technology or phone support position.
  • MCSE, A+, CNA or CNE, preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products, preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive travel required.
