Learning and Development Specialist Responsibilities

The Learning and Development Specialist will be responsible for providing training and implementation services for HHA eXchange as well as other training responsibilities as assigned.  This position will be responsible for conducting and manage training programs for HHA eXchange’s software applications.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine training objectives/instructional strategies based on analysis of the target audience
  • Work with internal teams on delivering new training plans and/or enhancing existing plans
  • Delivers training and instruction in accordance with defined training needs and provides instruction on HHA
  • Maintain all demonstration of HHA systems, tools and applications
  • Administers classroom trains for internal audiences
  • Assists with training plans and materials either by enhancing existing materials or developing the original documentation
  • Maintain accurate training records
  • Design internal and external training materials related to HHA or other assigned tasks/projects
  • Provide full implementation related to changes and enhancements to HHA system and assist with process changes that accompany to provide a full integration.
  • Provide weekly status on assigned deliverables and participate in weekly meetings as required

There’s a key piece to this job that relates to roll out my out changes and enhancements to the system and assisting with process changes that may go along with that.

Specific Requirements


  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • 5 years experience with training, support or development preferred
  • Knowledge of training and development practices and methods including instruction design for instructor led, virtual, on-line and blended training
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize activities
  • Experience with building and developing training content


  • Bachelor’s Degree

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Must have a valid drivers license
