As a(n) One Stop Operator you will: 

  • Responsible for overseeing the functional operations: the Workforce Development Board (WDB), One-Stop Career Center services and partner coordination. 
  • Develop and implement strategies for operational and performance excellence. Conduct partnership outreach and development.  
  • Work in partnership with the Regional Director on planning and overall day-to-day operations of partner coordination and new partnership development.
  • Manage the partner MOUs and understand each partner’s program services and contributions to the workforce system. 
  • Identify any silos with partners, manage access and coordination of all One-Stop services and confirm services accessed by customers are consistent, professional and in alignment with workforce goals. 
  • Ensure Labor Market Information, training information and the coordination with other grant sources support the WDB’s demand industries.
  • Coordinate the service delivery of required One-Stop partners and service providers to ensure each partner contributes to the support of the One-Stop.  
  • Ensure the implementation of partner responsibilities and contributions agreed upon in Memorandums of Understanding, avoid duplication of services and streamline processes. 
  • Ensure partner referrals are done in a real-time environment using the most efficient method of contact through electronic media and confirming by telephone calls.
  • Report to the WDB on operations, performance, and continuous improvement and best practice recommendations.  Provide recommendations for professional development and service delivery innovations.
  • Ensure that One-Stop System performance is on target with overall system goals; report System activities and outcomes (i.e., referrals, results, customer feedback, staff feedback, etc.) to the funder; provide recommendations for improved outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in management, organizational development, project management, business administration, or similar field is required.
  • Knowledge of workforce development programs (i.e.; WIA/WIOA, TANF) is preferred.  
  • Lead other projects of comparable size and complexity, or experience in a comparable role with similar required skills.
  • Project management experience is required.
  • Certified Associated of Project Management, (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Six-Sigma certification is preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
