As a(n) Operations HR Mgr - HomeCare you will: 

  • Assisting with Recruiting initiatives and referring direct support employment candidates for an assigned area and advising the HR Specialist in the replacement of vacant positions as quickly and economically as possible.
  • Ensuring the application and compliance with federal, state and local employment law for your assigned service sites.
  • Advising operations on new hire orientation, ensuring HRIS data entry is accurate, and generating/distributing HR related reports.
  • Advising on employment statutes, rules, regulations and policies affecting all team members.
  • Providing leadership in effective conflict resolution for all personnel.
  • Serving as a resource for team leaders in handling employee issues and assisting them in counseling employees, conducting evaluations, staff training, problem-solving and consensus building.
  • Ensuring that all staff have appropriate training records and that they receive appropriate job related and Human Resources related training for your assigned service sites.
  • Assisting the Executive Director with recruiting and screening new Human Resources Specialists for your assigned service sites.
  • Providing job training for the Human Resources Specialists for your assigned service sites.
  • Ensuring that Best In Class (BIC) HR Standards are met within your assigned service sites.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field of study OR equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in HR related activities
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of federal, state and local employment law, employee benefits, fair labor standards
  • PHR or SPHR certification, preferred
