As a(n) Outreach Talent Development Specialist you will: 

Reports to

Child Care Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides information regarding available services to public schools, community and faith-based organizations, hospitals, etc. .
  • Provides program information to child care providers not contracted with the CCS program and demonstrates the benefits of participation
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with local social service agencies
  • Coordinates with Workforce Solutions partners to recruit parents
  • Reviews DFPS list of child care providers and conducts outreach to new providers
  • Distributes information and materials to local employers
  • Maintains existing linkages to community resources and develops new ones to further the goals of the program and success of customers
  • Maintains a spreadsheet of all outreach activities completed/attended and follows up with interested providers and parents

Position Requirements


Two or more years’ experience in marketing, public relations, or related field. Demonstrated customer service and computer skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Public speaking experience. Desire to help others. Interest in community involvement. Ability to work in/with a variety of settings/populations and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently under general supervision and as a member of a team. Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.

Education/Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field or comparable combination of education and experience. Driver’s licensed required.
