QIDP Program Manager – Caregiver Management (Social Work) Responsibilities

As a QIDP Program Manager, you will ensure delivery of quality support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This will include responsibility for providing treatment and rehabilitation services as well as staff supervision. If you’re someone who is passionate about helping create for the people we serve the kind of place you would like to live and providing the kind of treatment you would like to receive, then this job is for you.

Specific Requirements

As a QIDP Program Manager, you must be highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for social work and the ability to work with a culturally diverse population. You must also display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively across all levels of management and staff.

Specific qualifications for the role include:  

  • BA/BS in Human Services, Health Care Administration, or a social science
  • Must meet State Division of MH/DD/SAS requirements for a Qualified Professional or Associate Professional
  • Minimum 1 year verifiable work experience providing services and supports to individuals with intellectual and or developmental disabilities; one year previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in managing systems, processes, and people
  • Working knowledge of Federal/State and Local regulations concerning services to individuals with intellectual disabilities

Additional Information

Case Manager Supervisor• Interview children and families.• Service planning by developing individualized treatment and service plans.• Counsel children and families in preparation for placement or discharge.• Supervise children in resource, foster, and adoptive homes; and in independent living arrangements.• Prepare and maintain case records.• Coordinate services to minimize fragmentation of care, reduce barriers, and link children with appropriate services to ensure comprehensive, continuous access to needed medical, social, educational, and other services appropriate to the needs of the child.Please note:** The operation would prefer that the applicant has a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in the area of behavioral or social sciences, social work, psychology, childhood education, special education, guidance counseling, or related field with one (1) year experience in the field of childcare or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the same areas of study with two (2) years of paid work experience in a human services delivery capacity or a related field; managerial experience with 5 or more employees; QA experience.
