QIDP Responsibilities

As a QIDP Program Manager, you will ensure delivery of quality support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This will include responsibility for providing treatment and habilitation services as well as staff supervision. If you’re someone who is passionate about helping create for the people we serve the kind of place you would like to live and providing the kind of treatment you would like to receive, then this job is for you.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

  • Supervising personnel to achieve service, clinical, and financial objectives 
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements through quality assurance activities
  • Participating in payroll process and ensuring accuracy of information submitted
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative review of all documentation prior to submission for invoicing/billing, ensuring accuracy per Medicaid and/or state guidelines
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures as well as all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines, advising supervisor of any compliance concerns
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with area programs, individuals and families
  • Completing all mandatory training and updates
  • Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor

Specific Requirements

As a QIDP Program Manager, you must be highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for social work and the ability to work with a culturally diverse population. You must also display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to interact effectively across all levels of management and staff.

Specific qualifications for the role include:  

  • BA/BS in Human Services, Health Care Administration, or a social science
  • Must meet State Division of MH/DD/SAS requirements for a Qualified Professional or Associate Professional
  • Minimum 1 year verifiable work experience providing services and supports to individuals with intellectual and or developmental disabilities; one year previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in managing systems, processes, and people
  • Working knowledge of Federal/State and Local regulations concerning services to individuals with intellectual disabilities
