Quality Assurance Manager Responsibilities

Oversees the quality assurance activities of the program and supervises any quality assurance analysts. Monitors the development and implementation of the Quality Program and assists with the development of future refinement of the program’s standard operating procedures. Identifies strategies to improve program monitoring activities, Conducts quality assurance reviews under the contract; generates reports and implements corrective actions. Provides technical assistance to external customer monitoring, external audits or internal reviews regarding project compliance.

  • Manage Quality Assurance and Quality Control operations including planning, implementing, monitoring and reporting functions.
  • Conduct audits to ensure corporate and contractual quality objectives are met.
  • Manage an effective quality assurance and quality control program that monitors and proactively resolves issues.
  • Manage internal and external customer expectations related to quality management and effectively communicate corporate quality standards across the project.
  • Support and improve the Quality Program and provide the leadership and direction to enhance accepted standards of quality practices, continuous improvement and ethical considerations.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures related to quality assurance, quality control, and monitoring compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Ensure that the Policies and Procedures Manual and Knowledge Management System are updated as policies and procedures change.
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in social science-related field or equivalent relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality Management
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and techniques of Quality management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver presentations and programs.
  • 3 years’ experience conducting quality assurance and continuous improvement activities, including conducting audits and developing quality improvement action plans.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
