Rapid Response Representative Responsibilities 

Specific Requirements

The Rapid Response Representative will be responsible for the timely processing of Rapid Response Services to include but not limited to Data Entry, Packet Assembly, Providing Qualified Work In Texas Job Search and Follow-Up Services, maintaining Supply Inventory, File Management and Collaborating with WIOA Staff to connect Dislocated Workers with Career Services.    This position also serve as a back-up assistant/presenter (English and/or Spanish) at the RR Orientations (Outplacement Services) based on business demands.

  • Data Entry into TWIST and Work In Texas ( WIT) Systems to meet Data Entry Deadlines
  • WIT Qualified Job Search Services to include Follow-Up and Job Leads to Dislocated Workers
  • Packet Assembly with Updated/Quality Inserts
  • Maintain Rapid Response Supply Inventory to include requesting supplies as needed
  • Serves as a back-up to provide Employee Orientations, Facilitating Workshops, Transition Centers, and assist at Job Fairs
  • Weekly Reporting and Tracking of all RR Outcomes
  • Timely submission of Timesheets and Expense Reports
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A related Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university and six months equivalent work experience or a High School Diploma and at least 12 months equivalent experience in related position
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications to include Typing of 35 net WPM
  • Bilingual in English / Spanish for follow-up and Group Presentations
  • Excellent Attendance and Punctuality
  • Organized and proven ability to set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Availability to work as scheduled which may include in inclement weather and/or outside 8-5 M-F based on business demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include Public Speaking experience
  • Enthusiastic, Driven, Focused with a “Can Do” Attitude and Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Effective organizational skills to prioritize tasked based on due dates to meet deadlines
  • Knows the Dallas Area or can get to destinations using maps/GPS
