Regional Business Development Manager Responsibilities

Rest Assured is the national leader providing remote caregiving to seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities who wish to live more independently at home.  We are at forefront of a rapidly growing industry and seeking qualified applicants to develop new business opportunities in their assigned region.

The Regional Development Manager will lead Rest Assured sales and business development in their region by creating strategic partnerships among key prospects to ensure successful annual revenue goals and long-term growth.  By leveraging existing networks and targeting new opportunities, and meeting with a healthy volume of prospects per week, you will build relationships with key executives and referral sources to generate, develop, and pursue leads and close sales. This position will be responsible for developing short and long-term sales strategies while maintaining the current business relationships.  

Essential Responsibilities/Job Duties

  • In conjunction with the Director of New Business Development of Rest Assured, prepare a goal directed development plan for the purpose of educating the general public and potential referral resources about our services.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor and partner to clients.
  • Managing multiple sales opportunities simultaneously and demonstrating a focus on follow-up and accountability.
  • Learns and executes the company's consultative selling strategy to build sustainable relationships with targeted referral customers

Specific Requirements

Education, Experience and Certification

  • Experience in building new and existing business using consultative skills and value proposition methodology.
  • A deep and broad professional network that aligns to our target client base preferred
  • Demonstrated track record in building new book of business, client relationship management, and evidence of closing and growing accounts preferred
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization.
  • Established performer with I/DD experience encouraged to apply
  • Interpersonal -- can build effective, strong working relationships with employees, colleagues, management and vendors through trust, communication, and credibility
  • Self-starter to implement and enforce process

Work Conditions

  •  80% Travel Required
  • Infrequently lifting and carrying items up to 10 lbs.
  • Infrequently twisting or bending at the waist or reaching overhead
  • Frequently listening to and talking with team members  either in person or by telephone
  • Frequently sitting at a desk or workstation using a computer display, keyboard, and mouse
