Regional Manager, Employee and Operations Solutions Responsibilities

As a forward-looking business partner, the Regional Manager, Employee and Operations Solutions is knowledgeable of business performance goals and works to develop HR solutions that enable business strategies, foster leadership success, and drive the employee experience.  The Regional Manager, Employee and Operations Solutions will partner with project, center and other staff to ensure staff behavior aligns with company culture and operational policy and practices that lead to organizational performance.  The Regional Manager, Employee and Operational Solutions is a subject matter expert in employee relations, performance management programs and risk management, along with assisting in the areas of updating policy and procedures, job descriptions, hiring and termination processes.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Supports the assigned region in meeting performance goals by understanding business objectives and providing human resource counsel and guidance that align with project/center performance objectives, company culture and provides solutions to employee and operational issues
  • Meets regularly with assigned region’s field Employee and Operations Solution staff to inform, equip and inspire excellence in the areas of employee relations, training and development, regulatory compliance, performance management and investigative acumen 
  • Works proactively to coach and train field Employee and Operations Solutions staff in Best in Class practices with regard to recruiting, hiring/on-boarding and retention.
  • Ensures company compliance with all Employment/Labor laws and regulations as well as company policy.
  • Visits regularly all operations within assigned region to champion culture, celebrate success, assess human resource performance and provide technical assistance
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Requirements

Education, Experience and Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Consultative HR service delivery with strategic focus.
  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) certification preferred.
  • Strong formal presentation/facilitation skills with the ability to adjust appropriately to the audience.
  • Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of employees
  • 5 to 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of HR laws such as EEO/AA, ERISA, ADA, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practice strategies and policies
  • Ability to develop integrated solutions from inception to post-delivery assessment
  • Flexible in style and approach to work varying disciplines
  • Ability to manage and thrive within ambiguity
  • Link people and organizational practices to business priorities
  • Understand business and industry factors to shape how strategies are developed, implemented and sustained
  • Effective consultative approach to build awareness or key organizational issues and consensus for relevant solutions; able to guide stakeholders through a shared and collaborative decision making process
  • Lead change within dynamic environments
  • Strong consulting and influencing skills; ability to think strategically
  • Leverages HR metrics and business data to provide insights to the business and enable data-informed decision making
  • Diagnostic, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and developed presentation skills with a proven ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
