Rehab Without Walls(R) NeuroSolutions started over 30 years ago as NeuroCare.  We originally designed a program helping brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients using real-life activities in their own environment. As a(n) Revenue Cycle Director - Rehab Without Walls you will: 

Provide leadership and direction to cross functional team that provides centralized services and support for claims processing, collections and customer service specific to the Operational functions. Improve and monitor Accounts Receivable through improved metrics based on a strong understanding of claims processing and adjudication. Establish policies and procedures that conform to regulations, meet industry standards and support customer relationships. Oversee a department, setting goals, guiding hiring and monitoring the budget. Partner with executive leadership to meet goals and achieve organizational strategies.

Essential Responsibilities/Job Duties

  • Adhere to best practices and corporate guidelines aligned with the Revenue Cycle organization. 
  • Establishment of standard work queue builds to ensure the workflow and assignments produce optimal AR reductions and positive cash flow
  • Extensive knowledge of Medicare and applicable reporting structures.  Credit balance reporting, Outpatient Part B 
  • Background or Working knowledge related to acquisitions and organizational change
  • Ensure proper escalation of AR issues from a Revenue Cycle and Operational perspective.
  • Champion revenue cycle technologies
  • Actively participate in the evaluation and implementation of new process enhancements
  • Ensure an adequate balance between the legal and financial responsibility to ensure compliance with external laws and regulations.
  • Create an environment of continual improvement and adaptive innovation which is responsive to the organizational needs.
  • Act as a partner in the overall management of the office and participate actively in decision-making and strategy for the entire department, with a team orientated approach.
  • Create and foster effective partnerships and strategies  with internal and external team members
  • Oversee management of staff providing recommendations for hiring, promotion, salary adjustment and personnel action where appropriate
  • Ability to manage remotely located team members
  • Assesses and responds to current and future internal and external healthcare trends in order to establish and ensure the necessary direction for revenue cycle activities. Performs in-depth payment and A/R analysis to properly record actions required to resolve disputed items; responsible for the activities involving tracing sources of error, correcting billing documentation, and processing final billing.
  • Responsible for the accurate management of over payments, credit balances, refunds, recoupments and unapplied payments.
  • Continually seeks ways and means for improving the delivery and support of patient billing and collections activities and programs.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited academic institution and/or minimum 10 plus years of professional experience in revenue cycle related fields. Master's degree in business or finance is preferred.
Work Experience: Seven plus years' experience managing Professional Billing / Revenue Cycle Management and/or Collections in a large healthcare provider setting or a Medical Claims Processing organization, with deep experience in Medicaid and Commercial claims processing, revenue cycle processes and metric strategies.

  • Requires a bachelor's degree of accounting, finance or Business Management preferred. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have working knowledge of financial software programs (AS400, Oracle, HCS, Zirmed preferred) 
  • Must possess exceptional organizational and communication skills and be able to manage numerous areas of responsibilities. 
  • Must be able to function well as a member of a team and must demonstrate leadership and supervisory skills.
