Sales and Recruitment Manager (TANF) Denver WFS Responsibilities

ResCare Workforce Services is currently hiring a Business Services Manager to serve in a key leadership role within the Workforce Center. We are seeking an innovative and strategic thinker to lead a professional team of business and talent consultants. The Business Services Manager will have management and oversight for building market penetration while developing and maintaining strong, credible relationships with regional employers and:

  • Adopts and implements the Center’s customer service philosophy
  • Partners with business and industry leaders to develop talent employment strategies that align with business needs
  • Provides leadership and direction of staff support and resources to ensure successful project deliverables of workforce services contract
  • Partners with Workforce Project Director to identify system and process improvement opportunities that builds organizational capacity
  • Identifies potential business development opportunities and referral sources to achieve increased job placement levels
  • Enhances organization visibility and brand through professional networks and organizations that foster collaborative partnerships
  • Gains an understanding of key business initiatives, performance evaluations and budget resources to ensure implementation and delivery of services
  • Coordinates networking and strategic recruitment initiatives to support business customer and connect job seekers to employment opportunities
  • Demonstrates sound judgment in ensuring compliance and administering policies and procedures
  • Serves on work groups and manages special projects and assignments as required
  • Provides effective training and support and supervise staff performance

Specific Requirements

  • 3-5 years in workforce development or related business support model
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining business partnerships
  • Strong business acumen in assuring efficient and effective operations with the proven ability to apply innovative and strategic thinking skills, proven supervisory skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company

Additional Information

The Sales and Recruitment Manager manages a team of Job Search Consultants who source, screen, and match jobseekers with open job orders. As a member of the Center’s senior leadership staff will work closely with the Center Director, Operations Manager and Customer (OED) counterparts to promote a business-driven model of job placement. Essential Functions:1. Drive business fulfillment strategy and execute it in collaboration with the rest of the Center’s leadership team:• Discuss open job orders with all leadership staff on a daily basis.• Work collaboratively with internal and external parties to ensure job orders coming in are ready to be matched by the jobseeker pipeline and to facilitate the account hand off process from sales account management to fulfillment account management.2. Ensure fulfillment account management services operate smoothly and in accordance with meeting business hiring needs:• Build and coordinate a pipeline of qualified job seekers through recruitment events, reengagement of Individual Training Grant customers, Community Based Organization referrals, walk-in traffic, and direct advertising. • Plan, implement, and track customized recruitment projects to meet the specific needs of each business customer.• Serve as a point of escalation for business and customer complaints and issues.3. Manage the performance and development of the Job Seeker Consultant Team:• Develop and maintain a standard communication plan to keep staff aware of center-wide issues and their role in meeting operational goals.• Hold staff to performance expectations through regular formal evaluations and informal feedback; work with individuals to identify and address areas for growth.• May be assigned other tasks and duties reasonably related to their job responsibilities.Will travel between 2 work locations. Will require a good driving record.
