Senior Manager of Treasury Operations Responsibilities

The Senior Manager of Treasury Operations is a key finance role within our organization.  Daily visibility of cash collections and forecasting is a key performance indicator and is communicated daily to our senior leadership.  Candidates will be responsible for several daily, monthly and quarterly reports which are utilized to make pay down or borrowing decisions affecting the overall liquidity of the Company.  Qualified individuals must be able to lead a dedicated team of individuals to ensure daily reconciliation to the banking and timely delivery of cash receipts to the Revenue Cycle department for payment application into the A/R sub-ledger.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the keying, tracking and reporting of daily AR cash receipts into the Oracle System.  Daily distribution of the cash receipts summary to other functional groups to ensure that cash can be applied daily to the sub-ledger.
  • Completion of the monthly reconciliations for all Master, AR Host, Local and Management account reconciliations on a timely basis.
  • Oversight of the daily, monthly and quarterly cash projections used by management to accurately forecast cash balances or borrowing needs.  
  • Governance over on-line banking security to all banking systems.  Ensure timely maintenance of new and termed users.  Additionally, verify that adequate segregation of duties are in place as it relates to ACH and wire disbursements.
  • Monitoring and reporting data from the Treasury Services Help Desk to quantify number of outstanding requests and ensure timely completion of open tickets.  Identify trends based on requests and streamline ticket closures.
  • Completion of Treasury related due diligence on acquisition targets ensuring successful integration onto banking platforms and meet cash requirements.  Identify synergies with cash receipts and effectively transition to electronic payments.
  • Monthly reporting on interest expense, bank fees and merchant services activities.
  • Responsible for the completion of all audit requests from internal and external auditors.  Manage the compliance with SOX control testing and ensure timely completion and ensure no deficiencies.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the VP of Treasury.

Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Previous Treasury experience a must.
  • Must demonstrate effective project management skills and look for ways to automate our current processes.  This specifically includes reviewing more efficient banking products to adapt where efficiencies can be gained and result in cost savings.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft applications including the ability to utilize pivot tables and manage large data extractions from core systems.  Previous Oracle system usage a benefit.
  • Ability to supervise a professional staff and ensure that deadlines are effectively managed and met.  Daily cash / debt communication to members of senior management a requirement.
  • Must possess the ability to accumulate and report of data for various frequencies.  Also must be able to present in a group setting key findings and trends with cash and debt.  Must show willingness to work with other Finance areas and be main point person for operational requests.
