Rehab Without Walls(R) NeuroSolutions started over 30 years ago as NeuroCare.  We originally designed a program helping brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients using real-life activities in their own environment. But we are also connecting the NeuroCare continuum, providing expertise in the right place at the right time with outpatient and residential services in addition to our groundbreaking home and community rehab.

As a(n) Speech Language Pathologist you will: 

  • Ensure that all clients consistently receive service as scheduled.
  • Report all pertinent client condition changes to the appropriate supervisor and/or caregivers.
  • Assist in the coordination of client care with appropriate caregivers through documentation, verbal communication, and/or case conferences.
  • Establish and implement the client plan of treatment as it relates to occupational therapy.
  • Assist in identifying clients’ physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Provide clients with appropriate health education and counseling.
  • Submit completed documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Evaluate clients via the appropriate diagnostic and prognostic tests.
  • Ensure that all client concerns and complaints are followed up with the appropriate supervisor within 24 hours, resulting in a satisfactory resolution.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following universal precautions as well as infection and safety control guidelines as established by ResCare.
  • Respond to requests for clinical and educational services in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Master’s prepared graduate with a degree in Speech Pathology / Audiology from a university approved by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions.
  • Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and neuro-rehabilitation techniques.
  • Current and valid license to practice in the state of employment, where applicable.
  • Teaching certificate for practice in a public school, as required.
  • Evidence of current CPR certification.
