As a(n) Vice President, Revenue Cycle you will: 

Under the direction of the Chief Revenue Office, the Vice President Revenue Cycle serves as the revenue cycle executive that directs and oversees the Business Office HUB locations for Residential Services, HomeCare Services and Trust Fund Management.

Essential Responsibilities/Job Duties

  • Develops and implements all department policy and procedures
  • Assists in the monthly revenue close process.
  • Reviews collection reports to ascertain status of collections and balances outstanding, and to evaluate  the effectiveness of current collection policies and procedures. 
  • Develops and controls annual departmental budgets.
  • Participates with management in matters regarding the preservation of capital and assets.
  • Ensures compliance with ResCare, Federal, State and local laws and regulations regarding billing and collection activities.
  • Recruits, hires, trains staff, evaluate employee performance and recommends or initiates promotions, transfers and disciplinary actions.
  • Manages all communication and processes between the business office HUBs and operational leaders
  • Establishes productivity monitoring for staff to maximize resources and results
  • Monitors KPIs and addresses issues in a timely manner to maximize cash flow
  • Develops best practice in revenue cycle enhancement
  • Works strategically and collaboratively with all departments
  • Facilitates growth and development of assigned staff by implementing professional development and training plans, monitoring performance and providing effective coaching to help staff reach their full potential
  • Assesses and recommends changes to organizational design in order to optimize revenue cycle results
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business, healthcare administration or related field preferred. 
  • 5  years experience managing high performing accounts receivable teams
  • 5-7 Extensive experience in managing the overall revenue cycle with very specific experience in process re-engineering, work flow design, and AR deficiency management.  
  • Strong written and verbal skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills 
  • Strong time management and planning skills required to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changes in business requirements in a fast-paced environment. 
  • High level of technical proficiency the MS Office suite - Word, Excel, and Outlook and Oracle financial systems.

  • 50% Travel required
