As a(n) VP Clinical Technology Innovation you will: 

The Vice President, Clinical Technology Innovation is the leader of technology implementations of clinical innovations including analytics, workflow automation, and electronic medical records.  The position reports to the Chief Information Officer and partners with the VP, Clinical Services and Innovation and the Chief Clinical Officer. The Vice President contributes to BrightSpring Health’s overall vision and mission to be the leading provider of comprehensive home and community-based health services to complex populations to improve the outcomes across all stages of life. This role is responsible for leading the overall development and execution of all innovations in clinical technology and the piloting and roll out of the capabilities across our various lines of business.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Leads the overall development and execution of all clinical technology innovation initiatives.
  • In partnership with our clinical leadership, researches and develops new approaches to care delivery based on current trends in the industry, future projections, emerging technology, and digital trends.
  • Accelerates care transformation and enhances business practices by introducing innovative technologies.
  • Partners with a cross functional team including technology, clinical quality, compliance, and operation leaders to test and implement new innovative capabilities.
  • Builds and leads a high-performing team that meets all operating goals to improve, clinical quality, regulatory compliance, clinical systems and analytic workflows, patient safety, and population management.
  • Fosters a culture of innovation and creativity to meet changing market conditions and strategy.
  • Develops and maintains performance and operational metrics.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience

  • Degree in relevant healthcare or technical field
  • Aptitude for introducing innovative technologies
  • Experience as a practicing clinician preferred but not required
  • Experience in case utilization, population health, quality improvement, and disease management preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in similar leadership role.

  • Strong time management and planning skills required to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of technical proficiency in clinical systems

  • Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language.

  • Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Travel Requirements

  • Minimal travel as home office houses clinical leaders, but moderate travel from time to time to ensure successful rollouts in the field
