As a(n) Youth Operations Supervisor you will: 

Reports to: Project Manager


  • Supervise and provide oversight for team performance to ensure that job seekers receive quality and timely services and that program objectives are met.
  • Delegate work and resolve conflicts that arise.
  • Track and report Case Management metrics to Program Manager.
  • Coordinate with all provider types (including secondary service providers, agency providers, and community providers) to ensure that customers make meaningful progress toward employment.
  • Conduct outreach to referred customers.
  • Engage customers in provider activities.
  • Reengage customers who have stopped participating.
  • Introduce customers to processes.
  • Review Department of Human Services-administered assessment.
  • Develop and amend Family Empower Plans and Individual Career Plans.
  • Assist customers in overcoming barriers to program engagement and participation.
  • Develop trusted working relationships with assigned TANF customers.
  • Monitor customer engagement and progress.
  • Coordinate multiple activities outlined in the customer’s Individual Career Plan.
  • Assist customers in reporting work participation.
  • Work with Talent Development Specialists and Business Solutions Consultants to identify appropriate career pathway-oriented employment opportunities for customers.

Position Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Social Services, Counseling, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university or a minimum of five years’ experience providing workforce development-related case management services to populations similar to TANF customers with a professional certification
  • Working with Customers in a caring and respectful manner with an understanding of and consideration for their unique circumstances
  • Prior experience developing, evaluating and implementing a case management plan that is milestone driven
  • Experience in identify community resources/services and linking customers
  • Completing written forms and reports accurately
  • Building relationships; communicating effectively; providing good listening and coaching skills
  • Computer literate and proficient at using Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
